Located in the heart of Kato Paphos, this charming and most popular Byzantine-style church has easy access for wheelchair users. The church holds both Anglican and Catholic wedding services.
Built around the 13th Century on the site of the earlier Basilica and surrounded by Roman ruins and mosaics, Ayia Kyriaki lends a real sense of tradition and history to the occasion.
The History relates far back to the visit of Saint Paul to Cyprus bringing Christianity to the Island and is written in the bible – Acts of the Apostles Chapter 13.
Apart from the history as a wedding venue for your ceremony, it is central to many of the Hotels, Tavernas and with 5 minutes to the Paphos Harbour, is truly a picturesque wedding venue setting.

Initially used for Catholic weddings, anglican weddings can also take place, along with wedding blessings and renewal of marriage vows. The chapel is part of the 5-star Elysium hotel in Paphos. Elysium comes from the ancient Greek and means a place of perfect peace.
