Established in 2009, Paliomonastiro is unique in that it holds a licence to conduct wedding services within its premises. The licence is granted because the venue is actually situated on grounds belonging to the Peyia Municipality. Furthermore getting married here does not incur a further cost attributed to other non-municpality service venues such as other restaurants, tavernas or hotels. This makes the site very appealing and straighforward for anyone planning to a budget.

Situated in extensive grounds and gardens and with wonderful Sea Views, Paliomonastiro can cater for small weddings as well as larger parties of up to 200 people. Easily located on the main road between Sea Caves and Peyia it also provides car parking up to 100 cars.

A great deal of care and attention has gone into the venue with incredible levels of cleanliness, friendly staff and a well varied menu. The owner, Savvas likes to work with his wedding party customers offering cuisine that is specific to their needs and requirements. In addition, set menu suggestions are available.

An Electronic Shade Cover System has been installed ensuring guests can eat, drink and relax in an environment to suit, either shaded or uncovered. In cooler months the whole taverna can be enclosed. The setting is tranquil with beautiful gardens and a waterfall backdrop which compliments the decking area where the services are held - ideal for photographs. The bar are at the entrance to the taverna is well equipped and provides a pleasant social atmosphere.

There is even a childrens play area with safety flooring and to complete a professional and well thought out reception venue 5 toilets are provided of which 3 are fitted with facilities for the disabled.
