Some Mezes can offer up to 30 differing dishes and is known to be a favourite amongst many visiting Cyprus.
If you have never tried a Meze, you start with a selection of breads or toasted pitas with several tantilising dips, olives and normal their local speciality. Following that you move onto the meat and fish rounds - these can vary from restaurant to restaurant but offer a wide selection of pork, fish and beef and even vegetarian dishes – from kebabs to chicken, local sausages and meatballs, casseroled styled pork dishes, vegetarian moussaka and again something thats unique from their chef….
